YongXian CarbonFiber Expands Standard Carbon Fiber Plate and Tube Range for Engineering Buyers

YongXian CarbonFiber, a manufacturer of carbon fiber fabrics, prepregs, tubes, plates and custom composite parts, has expanded its standard plate and tube range to shorten lead times for engineering customers who need predictable, specification-stable material rather than one-off custom builds.

The standard range now covers the two forms most commonly specified by industrial buyers.

Carbon fiber plates are available in 3K twill weave using Toray T700-grade fiber at 1.5 mm and 3.0 mm thicknesses, in unidirectional (UD) T700 for maximum strength along a single axis, and in a high-gloss decorative finish where the visible weave is part of the product. Plates are supplied flat and machinable and are used for structural brackets, reinforcement plates, covers, panels and drone bodies.

Carbon fiber tubes are produced in four standard cross-sections: round tube in 3K plain weave T700 for balanced strength and stiffness; round tube in UD T700 for maximum longitudinal stiffness in shafts and struts; square tube in 3K twill for frames, trusses and support columns; and oval/streamline tube for applications where bending stiffness is needed in one axis within a slim profile.

“Standard specifications are what most buyers actually need,” the company notes. “A robotics integrator replacing an aluminium link, or a panel maker cutting reinforcement plates, is not asking for a bespoke layup — they need a defined fiber grade, a known thickness tolerance and material that arrives with documentation. That is what the standard range is for.”

The standard range is supported by in-house filament winding, pultrusion, compression molding and CNC machining at the company's Dezhou facility, which allows plates and tubes to be supplied either as stock forms or machined to a drawing.

Production ships with batch documentation covering fiber and resin lot numbers, process parameters and dimensional inspection records, allowing engineering customers to trace a finished part back to its input material.

YongXian CarbonFiber also continues to support custom manufacturing for applications that fall outside the standard range, including composite tubes for robotic arms and automation equipment, where replacing steel or aluminium reduces moving mass and enables faster acceleration at the same payload.

The standard plate and tube range is available now. Samples are available for qualification, and the company supports both standard orders and custom sizing.
