ATEC Expands ISO 17025 Accreditation to Include RF Power Sensor Calibration Factors

Enhanced calibration capabilities extend RF coverage and support more advanced testing across aerospace, defense, and communications applications

SAN DIEGO, CA – September 1, 2026 – Advanced Test Equipment Corporation (ATEC) has expanded its ISO 17025-accredited calibration capabilities to include RF power sensor calibration factors, enabling customers to obtain ISO/IEC 17025 accredited RF power sensor calibration factor measurements with improved traceability and measurement confidence.

This enhancement strengthens ATEC's ability to support increasingly complex RF testing requirements across industries such as aerospace, defense, and advanced communications. ATEC has expanded its accredited RF calibration scope to include RF Power Sensor Calibration Factors from 9 kHz to 50 GHz. ATEC now provides accredited RF Power Sensor Calibration Factor measurements across this expanded frequency range, supported by traceable RF power standards and documented uncertainty budgets maintained under its ISO/IEC 17025 quality system. With this expanded scope, ATEC can support RF power sensors used throughout aerospace, defense, communications, EMC, and wireless testing applications. The enhanced capability also enables ATEC to update internal calibration factors for power sensors from manufacturers such as Keysight, PMM, and Rohde & Schwarz. These enhancements provide engineers with greater confidence in measurement accuracy and help improve the efficiency and reliability of RF testing.

"Expanding our accreditation to include RF power sensor calibration factors reflects ATEC’s ongoing commitment to supporting the evolving needs of RF testing," said Jamison Berg, CEO of Advanced Test Equipment Corporation. "Our customers rely on precise, accredited measurements to validate performance and ensure compliance."

ATEC's ISO 17025-accredited lab supports a wide range of RF calibration services, including verification of isotropicity, E-field linearity, and frequency response for RF and E-field probes. In addition to RF power sensor calibration factors, ATEC has also expanded its capabilities to include RF isotropic H-field probe calibration.
